This Privacy Policy explains how Ora ("we", "us") collects, uses and discloses personal information through orareport.com (the "Site") and our email newsletter.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you subscribe, your email address and, if you choose, your first name. After subscribing, you may also tell us how you heard about Ora and whether you have invested in private companies. If you request member access, your email address.
Information collected automatically. When you subscribe, we record the campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers in the link you followed, the website that referred you, the page on which you first arrived and when, the page on which you subscribed, and your device type, browser language, time zone and the country your time zone indicates. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use the Site, as described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to send you the newsletter, keep a record of your consent, understand our readership and how visitors find us, and operate and improve the Site. Subscribing is consent to receive our newsletter by email. It is not consent to sales calls or other marketing.
3. Service providers
We disclose personal information only to service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts the Site and stores form submissions.
- HubSpot maintains our subscriber and consent records, sends the newsletter and operates our cookie banner.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity provide analytics, with your consent.
- Google Fonts delivers the Site's typefaces and receives your IP address when a page loads.
These providers may store and process personal information outside your country, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local law.
4. No sale of personal information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use device fingerprinting.
5. Retention
We keep your information while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we keep only what we need to honour that request, such as a record of your opt-out. Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months.
6. Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and change your cookie preferences at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the Site. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing hello@orareport.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed.
